SUBSTANCE: method involves applying malignant tumor gene- suppressor agents in combination with a DNA-affecting agents or factor to kill cells being in particular cases malignant tumor cells. Malignant tumor gene-suppressor p53 is in vivo delivered by a gene-carrier with adenovirus recombinant as intermediate stage in combination with a chemotherapeutic agent. Treated cells show apoptosis state with specific DNA-fragmentation. Direct subcutaneous injection of a p53-adenovirus formulation into malignant tumors with following DNA-affecting agent like cis-platinum intraperitoneal administration causes general scale apoptotic tumor destruction. The method also involves causing gene displacement due to replication-defective adenovirus p53 of wild-nature type being applied in combination with DNA-affecting agents for treating the cases of malignant tumors.
