Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: treatment (including heat treatment) of strip, particularly, treatment of bands intended for packing of coiled metal. SUBSTANCE: steel band is treated with carbon content in its steel within 0.45-0.56%. Heating of steel band is carried out in furnace with excessive amount of natural gas. Patenting is performed in melt of mixture including 98% of NaNO3 and 2$ of MnO2 ate temperature of 350-400 C. Then, band is washed with cold water, blown with cold air and passed through wiping rollers and through bath with aqueous-waxy emulsion for 5-6 s at temperature of not in excess of 50 C, dried at bath outlet with hot air at temperature of about 200 C, and passed through adhesive rollers, with band motion velocity at all operations maintained constant. EFFECT: higher quality of packing and reduced consumption of packing band due to improvement of its service properties.
