Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: manufacture of friction components operating under conditions of abrasive and hydroabrasive wear. SUBSTANCE: ceramic material comprises wt.%: calcium oxide, 3.0-5.8; silicon oxide, 2.0-4.4; magnesium oxide, 0.3- 0.4; and the aluminium oxide balance. Material is prepared by mixing stock components, firing mixture, grinding cake, mixing with plasticizer, molding products and firing thereof. Firing temperature is 1330-1440 C depending on aluminium oxide content. EFFECT: lower firing temperature of the ceramic material. 1 tbl
