Zusammenfassung:FIELD: thermal engineering; miscellaneous boilers, water and steam heaters, etc. SUBSTANCE: coolant heater such as boiler has case with coolant space and combustion chamber separated by heating surface, as well as at least one heat-conducting trap communicating with heating surface; heat-conducting traps are integral parts and/or are made of metal parts jointed together through welds with metal heat conductivity exceeding that of heating surface material which is primarily copper or its alloys; traps are mainly mounted in high-temperature region of combustion chamber and welded to heating surface using different methods thus augmenting heat transfer between products of combustion and coolant at long-time exposure to high temperatures. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved reliability and service life of device, reduced metal input, facilitated installation and wiring. 9 cl, 9 dwg
