Zusammenfassung:FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: strain of cultured cells of plant cardiophyllous madder (Rubia cordifolia L.) is obtained in the Biology-Soil institute DVO RAN and deposited in All-Russian collection of cellular cultures of the higher plants at Institute of Plant Physiology RAN at the index RC-1. The strain RC-1 is obtained from wild growing plant cardiophyllous madder collected in Anuchinsky district of Primorski Territory. The strain is the callus tissue of friable consistence, yellow-orange color. The strain is cultured at the accumulating regime on agarized nutrient medium. The strain is the highly productive source of value anthraquinone pigments - munjistin and purpurin. An average content of pigments is 0.89% of dry cells mass. Anthraquinones are the effective agent for treatment of patients with renal calculosis disease and liver diseases since they are biologically active substances.
