CARTRIDGE FOR HUNTING GUN ( VERSIONS ) AND PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE OF BULLET JACKET

FIELD: hunting guns with rifled tubes. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with first version cartridge has case, propelling charge inside case, percussion cap and bullet. Head part of bullet has cut of jacket at vertex with free space under cut open on side of cut and longitudinal grooves in internal surface of jacket. Process of manufacture of bullet jacket includes cutting and rolling of cap, multipass drawing with clamping, punching of hole in vertex of semi-finished product and stamping of grooves. Novelty in manufacture of cartridge lies in sequence of operations for fabrication of jacket: punching of hole in vertex and stamping of grooves with the use of changed tool and change of shape of grooves, reduction to optimal size of diameter of hole in vertex across cut coaxially arranged with regard to case, reduction of diameter of cut of vertex of bullet and increased length of its head part. According to second version cartridge of same structure has bullet, jacket, shell and core. EFFECT: increased killing power of cartridge. 10 dwg
