SHAPED CHARGE

FIELD: blasting charges, used in gas-petroleum and mining industries. SUBSTANCE: shaped charge has a body, main explosive charge with a shaped recess and an initiator in the form of a body of revolution with an explosive density decreasing in the axis of symmetry from the larger base to the smaller one. The initiator has a cylindrical - conical shape. The cylinder, resting on the larger base of the truncated cone, with its opposite base rests on the end face of the main charge explosive pot and corresponds to its diameter. The taper angle of the initiator tapered section equals 90 deg. The initiator cylinder and tapered section have the same height equal to a doubled critical diameter of the initiator explosive. The diameter of the cylinder resting on the smaller base of the truncated cone equals the critical diameter of the initiator explosive. The explosive density of the initiator tapered section grows from the center of generator of the tapered surface.
