SUSPENDED PROTECTIVE COVER-BARRIER

FIELD: means of protection of various objects against the effect of fast-flying solid bodies: bullets, fragments, solid particles of soil, also applicable as a barrier preventing penetration to guarded territory. SUBSTANCE: suspended protective cover- barrier comprises an integral flexible bearing layer and a shock-absorbing layer fastened to each other and bent, and laminated protective segments facing outside with the convex camber. The cover is positioned at an angle to the vertical plane, its upper boundary is the most remote one from the protected object, and made up of interconnected separate longitudinal sections, each of them is furnished with a closed framework around the edges, including connected to one another and to the bearing layer shaped upper bearing member furnished with a baffle plate, lower and lateral joint members. The bearing layer is made in the form of a volumetric metal net, with butt-joined protective segments connected to the horizontal sections of the net for turning, some of the segments are made with two plane faces and arranged on the outer surface of the bearing layer, and the others are uniformly shifted relative to them and arranged on the rear surface of the bearing layer; the protective segments of both types have a thickness monotonously decreasing from the end faces. The bearing layer and the sections of the protective segments adjoining it are enclosed in a shock-absorbing layer. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of complex protection of objects. 7 dwg
