Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, more precisely, plants for processing of metallurgical wastes; applicable in metallurgical conversion processes (sintering of sinter burden, blast-furnace and foundry processes, steel-melting units) and for production of slag for construction purposes. SUBSTANCE: plant for processing, mainly, of blast-furnace slags has receiving bin with grate having meshes sizing 250-250 mm and the following components installed in process sequence: feeder (apron conveyor), tumbling barrel with separating perforated grate at its outlet end; coarse fraction conveyor and coarse fraction magnetic separation unit; screen with, at least, one main grate for supply of each fraction to its unit of magnetic separation. Plant has system for preliminary wetting of slag installed under receiving bin. Screen has additional grate with mesh sizing 5x5 mm and located under main grate, and connected by conveyor with bunker for slag accumulation. Separating perforated grate of tumbling barrel has mesh sizing 40x40 mm, and main grate of screen with mesh sizing 20x20 mm. Degree of separation of iron (magnetic) parts from slags amounts to 95% each separate fraction of iron lumps is stored separately on open storages whose volume depends on intensity of delivery of ready product to users.
