SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when preparing modifying foundry alloys for production of aluminum alloys by adding boron- and titanium-containing substances and compositions to aluminum melt. According to invention, titanium and boron powders are utilized, addition is carried out portionwise, and, as exothermic mixture, mixture of sieved powders of sponge titanium and aluminum and amorphous boron powders is used.
