Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: power engineering; burning solid hydrocarbon-containing materials including volatile substances in course of gasification: bituminous and brown coal, shales, peat, dry residue of agricultural biomass. SUBSTANCE: method includes heating fuel by mixing with high-temperature combustion products, after-burning of fines of hydrocarbon vapors in combustion zone. Reducing gas is used as high-temperature gas till temperature in layer of mixed flow reaches 300 to 550 C; air is fed towards this flow for oxidation. Temperature in layer is maintained from 700 to 950 C. Total gas flow is reburnt in combustion zone. Reducing gas is obtained in burning hydrocarbon fuel at air flow rate coefficient of alpha = 0,4-0,85. Ratio to fuel ranges from 0.3 to 0.5 : 1. Oxidation process is conducted at alpha = 1,1-0,7..
