Zusammenfassung:FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; neutralization of toxic matter in engine exhaust gases. SUBSTANCE: device has housing consisting of two truncated conical split parts with end cylindrical bushings, ejector installed on cylindrical bushing at side of inlet branch pipe, and cylindrical body of catalyst. Surface-active working body is used as catalyst. Body is metal-felt article with volumetric porosite coefficient not less than 0.92. Catalyst working body is made on nickel-chromium base. Angle of entry of working surface of housing at side of inlet branch pipe formed by longitudinal axis of housing and cone generating line is equal to 61-64 deg, and diameter of working body of catalyst 2.5 times exceeds diameter of inlet branch pipe.
