FIRE EXTINGUISHER

FIELD: fire extinguishing, devices generating gas-aerosol fire inhibitors with use of blasting cartridge compound for jetting them to protected space. SUBSTANCE: fire extinguisher has axially installed starting device, blasting cartridge generating gas-aerosol fire inhibitor and cooling unit accommodated in body which is installed inside shell with circular clearance filled with heatproof layer and communicating with outlet opening on convex cover by means of radial channels located above cooling unit. Novelty consists in that heatproof layer made of gypsum fixing blasting cartridge by perimeter directly with body rigidly fastened to cooling unit. The latter accommodates starting device, and outlet holes are spaced over periphery of cover rigidly connected with shell. Fire extinguisher is suitable for automatic and manual applications. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions with increased efficiency of fire extinguishing, higher structural strength and operate reliability during entire cycle of fire extinguishing. 2 dwg
