Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: mechanical engineering; vehicle engine protective devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has engine shutdown mechanism in electric circuit of which the following devices are installed: relay P5, switch and three parallel-connected contacts. In circuit of one of above-indicated contacts controlled by relay P5 signalling lamp is placed. Two other contacts arc controlled by control unit being essentially two minimum oil pressure control subsystems, one operating at engines starting and designed to control minimum oil pressure, and the other operating under different engine conditions. EFFECT: prevention of engine breakdown as a result of oil pressure drop to critical value at starting and under any operating conditions of engine. 3 cl, 2 dwg
