ELECTRICAL COUPLER

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has two pairs of symmetrical adjoining plates which are mounted in housing, are made from ribbons of elastic current-conducting material and provide contact sockets with cone input members. Pairs of plates are mounted in parallel in opposite slots of double racks with jumper so that pairs of contact sockets are oriented in diagonal. Housing base contains insulation racks which are arranged in row. Slots of odd insulation racks contains jumpers of double racks which are positioned in diagonal. Even insulation racks carry chocks with holes for inserting pins of plug. Their socket terminals are adjoining to ends of double racks with slots. Pairs of contact sockets may be provided with grounding contacts which are mounted on chocks and are connected to current- conducting line. EFFECT: facilitated manufacturing and use. 2 cl, 8 dwg
