Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: organic chemistry and technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of glycerol monochlorohydrin with an alkaline reagent (sodium hydroxide) in an organic solvent medium (dichloroethane) at reaction mass boiling point and at simultaneous water azeotropic distillation off and isolation of the end product by the known procedures. Invention proposes addition of buffer agent (soda ash or trisodium phosphate) before addition of sodium hydroxide to reaction mass for process stabilization and glycidol yield increase. This results to delay of by-side reactions and decrease of reaction mass exhaust probability. The yield of glycidol increases to 85-90%. EFFECT: improved method of industrial synthesis, increased yield of glycidol. |
