Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: bridge building technique. SUBSTANCE: technique for building suspension overpass can be used in construction of arch-type or frame-type bridges with suspension carriage-way. Carriage-way of suspension overpass is suspended from load-bearing structure by means of tie-rods. Carriage-way is located at angle of 15-90 deg. in plan relative to load-bearing structure between their longitudinal axes. Supports of load-bearing structure are located on waysides or in embankments of motor road being crossed by overpass. Carriage-way of overpass is secured to load-bearing structure by means of two or more tie-rods which are arranged in pairs at both sides of carriage-way. Angle of incline of planes in which tie-rods are arranged with respect to vertical plane can be from 0 to 90 deg. Selection of incline angle of tie-rods or points of their fastening to load-bearing structure determines stability of carriage-way in vertical and horizontal planes. Application of aforesaid embodiment of suspension overpass ensures optimal utilization of space along motor road being crossed in erection of load-bearing structure of overpass in closed quarters together with high stability of carriage-way.
