SUBSTANCE: engine has housing, nozzle, afterburning chamber, gas generator with solid propellant charge and heated strip. hydraulic drive of heated strip has piston and working liquid in hydraulic space, and controlled throttle. Differential piston of hydraulic drive is coupled at one side with gas generator space, and at other side with hydraulic space which is coupled, through controlled throttle, with nozzle unit placing gas generator space in communication with after burning chamber. If solid propellant with lack of oxidizer is used, hydraulic drive is filled with oxidizer as working liquid. If propellant with excess oxidizer is used, hydraulic drive is filled with fuel as working liquid. Nozzle is made in differential piston.
