SUBSTANCE: intergrain pitch interlayers are plastisized in process of preparation of cold-rammed bottom mass. Grains of filling agent are consolidated with average temperature pitch. Given process suggests temperature mode and sequence of operations that ensure ramming of joint under temperature of working zone of electrolysis shop and high-quality interunit joint after roasting. Mass share of components in bottom mass amounts, mas.%: plasticizing organic additive, 5.0-7.0; average temperature pitch, 13.0-15.0; carbon-carrying burden, the balance. High-molecular organic products of fractionation of coal resin or oil residues, for example, resin of pyrolysis of oil residues are used as plasticizing organic additive.
