Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: metallurgy; reducing smelting with use of gas discharged from smelting unit as carrier gas for iron ore without use of separately prepared carrier gas. SUBSTANCE: method includes stages of preliminary reduction of iron ore in furnaces of preliminary reduction, smelting and reduction of iron ore in smelting gasifier, discharge of finely divided iron ore cooled below and purified through the system of recycle and smelting nozzle to smelting gasifier. One part of discharged gas is supplied through Venturi scrubber, first compressor and tube to rising tube for supply gas to furnace for preliminary reduction. One part of compressed gas circulating through tube is repeatedly compressed by means of the second compressor and finely divided iron ore is recirculated to tube with the aid of pneumatic system of transportation of finely divided iron ore. The method provides for injection of finely divided iron ore by utilization of the gas discharged from smelting gasifier that needs no separately prepared gas for ore transfer and provided for injection of ore with no changes in the amount and composition of treated gas.
