DEVICE FOR PRODUCING FINE EMULSIONS AND SUSPENSIONS

FIELD: emulsion producing equipment. SUBSTANCE: device is finally intended for producing various substances based on fine emulsions and suspensions in food production, chemical and petrochemical industries. Device has double-stage chamber of high and superhigh pressure, stationary dispersing head, hydraulic source of high pressure, system for charging material to be dispersed into automatic control system. Dispersing head is made in the form of turning rotor which is provided with set of dispersing components (nozzle-damper) located radially with respect to axis of rotor rotation. Rotor is also provided with stepping mechanism of its turning and is rigidly connected to it by means of coupling. Superhigh pressure chamber is provided with hollow movable plunger-type bush which connects superhigh pressure chamber with nozzle unit of dispersing head. Pressure sensor is connected to stepping mechanism of rotor turning mechanism through automatic control system. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device allows for producing high-quality emulsions or suspensions with particle size of mcm in continuous procedure. This is achieved because it permits operator to replace nozzle unit of expired service life with new one without stopping operation of dispersing device. It also allows for automatic replacement of nozzle unit in case it goes out of action before expiration of predetermined service life period. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
