Zusammenfassung:FIELD: rocketry, applicable for utilization of solid propellant charges. SUBSTANCE: it is a safe, high-capacity, ecological installation for cutting and utilization of solid propellant charges fastened to the body, producing high-quality solid propellant crumbs of any preset size at a low water discharge. Cutting nozzles in the installation are arranged on the periphery of the head end face rotating at a preset speed, and connected through a rod to a high water pressure source. The nozzle are so installed that an obtuse angle is formed between the nozzle axis and the section on the head end face connecting the axle of head rotation with the point of intersection of the nozzle and end face. The rod carries the drives of horizontal and vertical feed of the head to the solid propellant charge to be cut, and a movable restraining arm coated with fire-proof material, which has such a length that its end projects behind the plane of rotation of the nozzles by the value of the preset safety clearance. The restraining arm carries the head feed switch, which operates at a touch of the charge surface and deflection of the restraining arm by a certain angle of cutoff. In contradistinction to the prototype, the installed on the rotary device in horizontal position, bringing the cutting nozzles from the outer side of the solid propellant charge to the point of cutting.
