Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: method is employed in finishing leather to manufacture sheepskin headgears. Finishing is effected by applying coloring water-emulsion composition, followed by applying fixing agent and pressing. According to invention, before applying coloring composition, flesh-side surface of sheepskin is covered with grease coating, after which sheepskin is stretched. Water-emulsion composition contains: polyurethane dispersion, flatting agent, stamp additive, wax emulsion, liquid dye, and water. EFFECT: improved leather quality. 2 tbl
