Zusammenfassung:FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for bringing action upon mass of coal or rock with purpose of intensifying process of degassing, also for preventing abrupt outbursts of coal and gas, as well as for weakening of hard-caving rock of roofs and at cutting coal in steeply-dipping seams. At application of binding substances in working fluid, it can be used for plugging fissures and solidification of rock mass. Device has gas generator, hollow barrel and locking member with seat. Locking member can make gas generator communicating with hollow barrel. Also provided are hermetic seal for barrel, and main pipeline for delivery of working fluid to hollow barrel. Gas generator and locking member are located at angle of 90 deg. with respect to longitudinal axis of barrel. Locking member is provided with valve which is spring-biased at side of trunk pipeline and additional seat for possible alternate connection of gas generator and trunk pipeline with hollow barrel. Device can subject rock mass to cyclic action of hydraulic pulses at pressure of up to 100 MPa. Affecting zone can be increased up to 10 m from bore-hole. Device takes little time to recharge energy-carrier and is convenient in servicing. Application conditions are almost unlimited. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 8 dwg
