SUBSTANCE: this relates to facilities for development of continental marine shelf and namely to movement of extending cantilever which carries drilling setup of offshore drilling rig. In device, slide member is installed in lower part of cantilever and is made in the form of interconnected cheeks. Abuts are made in the form of levers which are installed symmetrically relative to central axis of slide member. Abuts are provided with balancing weights for changing their position. Due to positioning of slide member in lower part of cantilever and its structural embodiment reduced is amount of metal needed for manufacture of components involved in movement of cantilever.
