SUBSTANCE: multiphase transformer with revolving magnetic field has slotless side magnetic cores central magnetic core whose same slots accommodate double-layer, short- pitch, three-phase distributed primary winding and single-layer, diametric, multiphase non-distributed secondary winding, both being double-pole windings placed in slots in three layers. EFFECT: improved harmonic content of transformer magnetomotive force, reduced mass and size of converters built around it, improved efficiency. 2 dwg
