HEAT-INSULATING ARTICLE AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION

FIELD: technology for producing construction materials. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in erection of objects with special requirements as to heat insulation. Heat-insulating article is made up of sheathing and filler located in it. Filler is made of material with apparent density of 35-70 kg/cu.m at total apparent density of article equal to 45-80 kg/cu.m. Volume of sheathing body amounts to 2-15% of entire volume of article. Sheathing is made of heat-conducting material and can contain mixture of filler with binding agent. Method for production of heat-insulating article begins with manufacturing of sheathing by forming during movement of form around two intercrossing axes at ratio of speeds of moving around axes equal to 1:2-6 and at heating of sheathing material after its charging into form to temperature of 120-400 C until fusing and hardening of sheathing material with resulted creation of space inside it and stuffing this space with filler or with mixture of filler and binding agent. Aforesaid heat-insulating article is of enhanced load-bearing capacity due to its increased mechanical strength. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 12 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
