THERMAL RELAY (OPTIONS)

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: relay that has two heating elements, two bimetal strips, two screws for adjusting space between heating elements and bimetal strip, rocker arm, overhanging plate, slider, latching member, and contacts is provided in first option with additional overhanging plate, link, spindle mounted for displacement over definite path. One end of additional overhanging plate is hinged to main overhanging plate and its other end, to first end of link whose second end is coupled with spindle. Newly introduced in second option of relay are flexible pigtail with spiral sheath, locking mechanism, and rod. One end of sheath is secured on overhanging plate; at point of fixation, overhanging plate has boss with through hole to receive rod connected to pigtail end whose other end and sheath end are connected to locking mechanism.
