Zusammenfassung:FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing high- viscosity petroleums, natural bitumens, mazuts, and topped residuum. Raw material is ozonized from 80 to 100 C with ozone-air mixture obtained from air via affecting it by fast electron beam, mixed with water, and subjected to radiolysis in pulse mode with electron beam energy 0.5-2.0 MeV at pressure 0.10-0.12 MPa. Gas and water are separated. The latter is freed of dissolved ozonolysis and radiolysis products and of polluting impurities by way of simultaneously affecting water by ozone-air mixture and fast electron beam to return then purified water into process of mixing with ozonized raw material. Water, once separated from gas and liquid hydrocarbon phase, is alkalized with 2% NaOH and treated it with HCl to pH 2-3. Precipitate is separated by filtration and dried. Resultant demulsifier is further used to dehydrate and desalt crude oil in its primary processing stage. Gas products are used as fuel component to heat raw material.
