Zusammenfassung:FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, microbial ecology. SUBSTANCE: human or animal large intestine content suspension is used as a source of microbiocenosis. Suspension is subjected for selective decontamination followed by cryopreserving and storage in liquid nitrogen at minus 196 C. Substances of protein-polysaccharide nature are used as a cryprotector at concentration below 0.1%. The method provides viability and stability of natural microbial associations of man and animals for the very prolonged time being without any limitations. Analysis showed identical results of quantitative assay of some indices of natural microbial symbiotic associations of human large intestine before and in 1 year after cryopreserving.
