METHOD FOR WORKING SOFT SEDIMENTS ON ACTING DREDGE-PLACED FILLS

FIELD: methods of working soft sediments; may be used in construction and operation of structure from loose materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes stopping of dredge-placing to dam section where building-up of next tier is anticipated. Then road is constructed beyond the zone of working the hydraulic fill sediments along the dam. Road filled with coarse-grained materials is designed for hauling units and excavators used in excavation of drainage ditch made parallel to road beginning from catch pit. Excavated material during construction of drainage ditch is hauled to dam and water from this ditch is directed to catch pits. Sediments are worked after their drying due to water outflow to drainage ditch at the section limited by this ditch and constructed dam. EFFECT: higher efficiency of working water-saturated soft sediments due to simplifying of working process; reduction of moisture content of worked material and terms of work and cut down cost of work. 2 dwg øøø1
