Zusammenfassung:FIELD: metallurgy, ferroalloys. SUBSTANCE: ferrovanadium is produced by silicoaluminothermic method. Mixing and finishing slag are carried out simultaneously with finishing mixture containing barite concentrate taken at amount 6-20 kg/t slag at 1750-1900 C. Method provides to increase process output by 23%, decrease phosphorus content in alloy an average by 2-fold and obtain nonscattering slag that can be used in building industry as a crushed stone for concrete mixtures preparing.
