HYDRAULIC OPERATING MECHANISM OF HIGH-VOLTAGE POWER SWITCH

SUBSTANCE: operating mechanism has final element in the form of hydraulic cylinder with differential piston controlled by valve mechanism. Piston has two parts one being loose and other made in the form of rod-and-piston assembly coupled with movable contact of switch. Second part of differential piston has duct providing communication between space under piston (low- pressure space) and space between first and second parts of piston. In addition, second part of differential piston may have second duct providing communication between space under piston and intermediate space between differential piston and hydraulic cylinder.
