Zusammenfassung:FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vibration processes are formed for diagnostics of transformer by mechanical action on it. Emf induced in windings of transformer as result of this action is measured, frequency of maximum of spectral density of power of emf is determined and diagnosis is established by computation of force of compaction of transformer windings by empirical expression , where f is frequency of maximum of spectral density of power of emf induced in windings, n is constant quantity, for known types of transformers n = 4. Method makes it possible to develop technique of diagnostics of compaction of windings that allows complex evaluation of correspondence of design to operational requirements to conducted without any disassembly.
