Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: transport engineering; air temperature control. SUBSTANCE: installation has vortex tube connected to outlet of one of circuits of "air-to-air" heat exchanger. Each circuit of heat exchanger is connected to separate compressor. Circuit of heat exchanger not coupled with vortex tube is closed through two-position pneumatic switch. The latter is installed at side of compressor outlet. Inlet of this compressor is connected with outlet of indicated circuit. Installation has water reservoir connected through wicks with inlet of heat exchanger in circuit not coupled with vortex tube and with behind-nozzle section of vortex tube. Reservoir is connected by blowing main with inlet into vortex tube. Installation can be operated at two controlled modes: cooling and heating of air delivered into cab. Under air cooling conditions, efficiency of heat exchanger is increased owing to increase in convective heat transfer coefficient, and temperature efficiency of vortex tube is increased.
