Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: mechanical engineering; may be used in treatment of parts operating under complicated loading conditions. SUBSTANCE: method includes performance of ion-implantation with nitrogen, carbon or born with energy of 30-50 keV, current density of 30-50 mcA/sq.cm and fluency of 1016-10 ion/sq.cm, postimplantation annealing at temperature of 450-550 C and pressure of residual gases of Pa for 1.5-3.5 h. Then part is subjected to sign-varying load with number of loading cycles more than 103-10 and stress whose magnitude is selected from the operating conditions of parts or equalling 0.3-0.4(Gs-Gy), where Gs is ultimate strength and Gy is yield strength of part material.
