Important component of transmitter is oscillatory system 5 whose energy is conveyed to spherical feeder line one of whose conductors is entire surface of the globe 6 and other one is highly ionized layer of atmosphere 7. Coupling capacitors 3 and 4 are physically designed as spherical feeds; use may be also made of other three-dimensional bodies with developed surfaces, such as disks, icosahedrons, dodecahedrons, and the like.
