SUBSTANCE: invention deals with synthesis of light-sensitive materials for information- registration destination, which can be used in chemicophotographic industry, medical and industrial radiography. In order to increase coefficient of contrast range at practically invariable level of photographic sensitivity to ionizing emission and fog level, method of manufacturing silver bromide-iodide photographic emulsion is distinguished by the following. Emulsification is carried out with acetic acid added by 2 to 10 portions with addition intervals from 2 to 60 min. After each acetic acid portion added, silver nitrate solution is instantly added also divided into the same number of portions. Further, physical recrystallization, isolation of solid phase by a chemical precipitation agent, dispersing of solid phase in water-gelatin solution, and chemical recrystallization are conducted.
