Zusammenfassung:FIELD: catalysts in petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: invention focuses on catalysts used in hydrogenation processes for producing high- index motor, electric-insulation, and energyÆs mineral basic oils. Method consists in mixing basic nickel carbonate, tungstic acid, and carrier, extruding the mixture, drying extrudate at 120-180 C for 8-12 h, and calcining it at 350-450 C for 8-12 h. Carrier used is a mixture of dry alumina gel powder and aluminum hydroxide in ratio 1:(1.5-12) (on conversion to solid material). EFFECT: considerably simplified process due to excluded H2S-sulfuration, grinding, and pelletization stages. 2 cl, 1 tbl
