SUBSTANCE: used in the proposed method is billet in the form of utilized shell case with protruding bottom end face During preparation for drawing, thickness of case bottom is mechanically reduced to the thickness of wall of body part adjacent to bottom. Outer diameter of protruding end face is reduced to diameter of finished article. Billet is inserted into drawing die with its bottom end connected through detent with tension device. Use of utilized shell case as billet provides for accurate sizes of finished article and reliable process execution. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwgh
