SUBSTANCE: boundary layer of tribocontact at preset properties possesses the ability of self-repairing of microdeformation due to application of anti-friction coat on one of surfaces. This coat and the entire boundary layer are activated by definite action, thus providing for dynamic equilibrium and controlling the rate of repair of defects due to additional outside actions. EFFECT: extended range of temperature, velocity and load intervals of operation of friction pairs.
