Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: steel metallurgy, mainly, heat treatment of pipes of oil assortment with high strength and resistant to sulfide cracking; pipes are made of low-carbon steels containing chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes cooling in the air from the rolling temperature, heating to preset temperature, cooling in water, repeated heating to preset temperature with subsequent cooling in the air. Heating is carried out up to 760-810 C, repeated heating up to 630-720 C and additional repeated heating up to 630-720 C, holding and cooling in the air. EFFECT: higher resistance of pipes to sulfide cranking under conditions of stresses in media containing natural and bacterial hydrogen sulfide. 1 tbl
