Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: testing of containers for transportation and/or storage of used up nuclear fuel. SUBSTANCE: stand has bearing posts 1 with cross-bar 2 and anvil 3 positioned on separate parts 4-6 of base. Anvil carries removable target which collides with thrown-off tested article 7 held by appliance in horizontal, inclined or vertical position. Appliance is coupled by means of lock to moving element 12 joined to device intended for lifting the article under test. Moving element can be locked in extreme upper and in at least one of intermediate positions. Device for locking the moving element in extreme upper position is made as rods 15 secured with some ends on cross-bar and hinge-connected to moving element with other ends. Moving element is locked in intermediate position by pair of auxiliary rods 16 hinge-connected to cross-bar and capable of turning in vertical plane.
