Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: precious metal affinage. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing refined platinum and palladium blacks consists in using fractional precipitation of Pt(IV) and Pd(IV) chloro-complexes. Oxidation to sparingly soluble metal(IV) chlorides is conducted in two steps: solution is first treated by oxygen-containing oxidant and platinum is selectively precipitated at pH 1-3 and fried from palladium and non-precious metals, whereupon palladium is precipitated by oxygen- or chlorine-containing oxidants in a medium with acidity 1-4 mol/l. EFFECT: increased metal affinage degree.
