DEVICE FOR COLLECTING PETROLEUM PRODUCTS FROM WATER SURFACE

FIELD: environment control technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to equipment intended for collecting oil and oil products from water surface of rivers and other basins. It automatically reduces content of residual liquid in petroleum products collected from water surface and reveals higher productivity. Device is provided with floats giving it floatability, rotating disks, and strips scraping sticking petroleum products from surface of rotating disks. Removed petroleum products flow along pans into collecting trough and accumulating vessel. Installed in aforesaid vessel is unit for controlling amount of petroleum products contained in vessel. Unit is made in the form of lever with float connected with operating member which interacts with contact-free limit switches sending signals for engagement and disengagement of immersed electrically driven pump. Interacting with aforesaid control unit is float-mounted facility intended for removing upper layer of petroleum products. Facility is made in the form of intake head which sucks in petroleum products by means of immersed pump. Also provided is pipeline delivering upper layer of petroleum products beyond accumulating vessel. Extension of dipping rotatable disks into liquid being cleaned from petroleum products is adjusted by means of stops. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwgn
