Zusammenfassung:FIELD: production of flax fibers. SUBSTANCE: flax straw or flax combings are retted in aqueous solution having the following composition, g/l: Pectofoetidin fermentative preparation Å10ò, 2.5-7.5; monophenol-monooxygenase enzyme, 0.5-2.5; sodium chloride, 0.5-1.0; neonol AF 9-10 preparation based on isononylphenol hydroxyethylated with degree 10, 0.5-1.0. Fibers are squeezed out, steamed at 40-90 C for 5-30 min, wetted in water, dried and subjected to dressing and hackling. Flax fibers have the following properties: breaking load, 18.2-22.7 dan and 17.5-17.9 dan; flexibility, 56-70 mm 100-110 mm; yield, 31.5-34.5% and 60.7-63.5%; whiteness, 17.6-25.5 and 23.1-27%; capacity for awning, 3.4-4.6% and 2.1-2.4%, respectively, for long and short flax fibers.
