Zusammenfassung:FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has ring-shaped casing, cuff and locking member. The casing is manufactured from titanium and has two parts: titanium one and carbon-containing titanium surface. The latter isolates blood passing through the valve from negative physiological influence of metal. Carbon-containing casing surface is created by ion implantation of carbon into titanium. Method involves implanting carbon ions under the following conditions. Carbon ions implantation dose is not less than ions/cm . Pressure in the zone of casings to be implanted is not greater than 10 Pa. Temperature range for implanting the casings is 250-400 C. EFFECT: improved biocompatibility properties. 2 cl, 1 dwg
