Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: clay mass is gradually wetted by steam or water heated to molding temperature, the last wetting step being performed immediately before transferring clay mass into pressing assembly. Clay bar is then pressed and cut into blanks, in which immediately moisture content is determined. In accordance with determined value, one controls steam and water intake in the last wetting step using the following equations: $$$ where $$$ is steam intake in the last wetting step, kg/min; $$$ the same for water; kg; $$$ moisture mass in one brick, kg $$$ dry clay mass in one brick; $$$ temperature of clay bar, °C; $$$ temperature of raw clay, °C; 0.22 is heat capacity of clay, kkal/kg °C; 640 enthalpy of steam, kkal/kg °C; 1.0 is heat capacity of water, kkal/kg °C; $$$ = 0.97-1.0 is coefficient taking into account evacuation of clay (0.97 when processed on vacuum press); $$$ = 0.19-0.32 is coefficient taking into account clay moisture; and n productivity of press, number of bricks per 1 min. EFFECT: optimized process. |
