APPARATUS FOR DESCALING ROLLED SHEETS

FIELD: rolled stock production, namely apparatuses for abrasive powder descaling of rolled pieces. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes working chamber filled with abrasive powder and having input and output openings for abrasive powder and rolled sheets to be descaled, means for charging abrasive powder and discharging it out of working chamber, for circulating and separating said abrasive powder, at least two mechanisms for pumping abrasive powder. Each mechanism includes auger with helical duct mounted in housing provided with charging hopper for abrasive powder. Novelty is arrangement of axes of augers being normal relative to motion plane of descaled rolled stock at different sides of said plane. Apparatus also includes at least three mechanisms for pumping abrasive powder arranged at each side of motion plane of rolled sheets by staggered fashion. Distance between nearest limit points of one row of augers is less than diameter of auger. Distance between mostly mutually spaced points of first and last augers of one row is more than width of descaled rolled sheet.
