FIELD: optical instruments designed for stereoscopic observation of object or its fragments from small distances, for example, in medicine, industry and at home. SUBSTANCE: binocular stereoscopic magnifier has two monoculars, bearing bracket with attachment members on user's mount, sliders of mechanism changing distance between axes of monoculars put on bracket, mechanism changing convergence angle. The latter has capability of turn on monoculars with reference to sliders carrying them, arrangement of centers of turn in exit pupil of each monocular and making planes of their travel tilted with regard to plane of change of convergence angle.
